The following topics provide node descriptions for those DBMS for which DBArtisan supports an Instance node:

Instances (Oracle)

Explorer node location

DBArtisan places the Instance node as the first level of information under the datasource node in the Explorer.

Sub-nodes

  • ASM and ASM > Disk Groups nodes (only visible if the Datasource has an ASM instance): for a support summary, see Disk Groups.
  • Version node: provides specific version information for the datasource.
  • Configuration node: lets you view, extract, and modify configuration/initialization parameters. For detailed information, see Working with Configuration/initialization Parameters.
  • Oracle Job Queues node: for a support summary, see Job Queues.
  • Scheduler node: Lets you access object types in support of DBMS_Scheduler. For details, see the following topics.
