MongoDB authentication options
When Reverse Engineering a MongoDB database, further authentication options are now available.
MongoDB Forward Engineering
Using the The DDL Generation Wizard it is now possible forward engineer a MongoDB database.
Sybase IQ 15 and 16 now supported
We have now included support for the latest versions of Sybase IQ. This support includes ODBC connection, SQL Import, and forward engineering a database.
Sax Basic Update
Version 10 of Sax Basic, now called WinWrap basic, has been upgraded to the latest version. This update includes the latest product features and updated documentation.
Import Bridges update
The Import Bridges have been updated with all the latest support. For the latest list, please see our MetaWizard Import/Export Bridges pages.
MongoDB is now supported across the product
As part of the expanded platform support and to enable better visibility into metadata for unstructured data formats (including a notation to show nested data hierarchies that is unique to ER/Studio), this release provides native support for MongoDB 2.4 and 2.6.
Hive now supported across the product
We have customers that are using Hive for their large data set. For this reason,this release provides native support for Hive 0.12 and 0.13.
Performance Improvement
With an improved memory model, Model Repository has had a performance upgrade, particularly for large models.
bit client now available
ER/Studio Data Architect and ER/Studio Repository now run as a native 64-bit application. Separate installers let you choose between 32-bit and 64-bit applications. You must be using 64-bit versions of DBMS platform drivers when using the 64-bit version of ER/Studio Data Architect.
MIMB 8.0 Updates
The MetaWizard bridges now include 64-bit ERWin import bridges.
