The following information is collected during an eSlip activation event:
- Serial Number: points to VAR, InterBase version and edition, order and license details
- Registration Code: unique number, client machine specific
- Host name: client machine host name, no domain
- Username: system username
e-Slip works on the basis of an approved number of registrations. This is maintained against the license key in Sanctuary. Once the license count has been reached, the key is no longer available anymore for use, unless the ceiling is raised for more registrations.
