The RAD Server Developer Engine and the RAD Server Developer Console stand-alone applications are delivered in RAD Studio. There are Win 32 and Win 64 versions of the executables:

  • For Win 32: C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\21.0\bin
  • For Win 64: C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\21.0\bin64

We recommend to use the stand-alone applications for developing purposes, to easily test your RAD Server Client Application or RAD Server Packages.

For a production environment, we recommend to set up the RAD Server Engine and the RAD Server Console on a web server. We currently give support for Microsoft IIS Server and Apache Server.

When you run the RAD Server Developer Engine or the RAD Server Developer Console application for the first time, and if the RAD Server Environment has not been properly set, the RAD Server Setup Wizard starts.
