Option sets are disk files (with .optset file extension) containing project option values that you can apply to build configurations. There are three ways to create option sets -- using the Project Manager, Project Options, or the Configuration Manager.

After you create an option set, apply the option set by doing either of the following:

  • Apply the option set (by reference) to the selected configuration by clicking AddRefToOptSet.png on the Configuration Manager.
  • Apply the option set by value, using the Project Manager, Project Options, or Configuration Manager.
