This message follows an error reported by an external linker (errors such as undefined symbol, object or library file not found, and so forth).

Only the Delphi mobile compilers for the 32-bit iOS Device (DCCIOSARM), 64-bit iOS Device (DCCIOSARM64) and Android (DCCAARM) have an external linker (named ld). DCCIOS32 and the Delphi desktop compilers have an internal linker.
