Troubleshooting: No iOS Device Targets Listed on the Project Manager

iOS Device target platform with no iOS device

The Target node within the iOS Device - 32 bit and iOS Device - 64 bit target platform nodes in the Projects Window shows a list of iOS devices connected by USB to your Mac.

If the Projects Window does not show any iOS device in the Target node within an iOS device target platform node, or if a device connected to your Mac does not show up:

  • Right-click the Target node and select Refresh to refresh the list of targets.
  • Ensure that there is a connection profile associated with the selected iOS device target platform. See Activating and Configuring the Target Platform.
  • Open the Connection Profile Manager, select the Mac connection profile that you have associated with the selected iOS device target platform, and click Test Connection to ensure that you have a working connection to your Mac.
