Description

This example illustrates how to use the Length method to return the length of a 3D vector. The length is computed as the square root of the normalized vector.

Code

#include <tchar.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <system.types.hpp>

int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[])
{
	float aValue;

	TVector3D *aVector1=new TVector3D(1,-20,8,1);
	printf("%2.2f %2.2f %2.2f\n",aVector1->X,aVector1->Y,aVector1->Z);
	// The console will output: 1.00 -20.00 8.00, representing the coordinates for aVector1.

	aValue=aVector1->Length();
	printf("%2.2f",aValue);
	// The console will output: 21.56, representing the length of aVector1.
	return 0;
}
