Check Disk Group
Go Up to Available object actions by DBMS
This action builds and submits an ALTER DISKGROUP CHECK... statement with FILE/DISK/ FAILGROUP/ALL and REPAIR options, letting you verify the internal consistency of disk group metadata.
- Note: Before this object action is available you must have a direct connection to the ASM instance. For details, see Manage ASM Connection.

To Verify Internal Consistency of Metadata for a Mounted Disk Group
- On a connected Oracle datasource, expand the Instance and ASM nodes.
- Right-click the Disk Groups node and select Create from the context menu.
- Use the following table as a guide to understanding and modifying settings in the dialog:
