Association (BPM)

An Association is used to associate information with events and activities. It can be used to associate reference objects, external data objects, shapes, and activities with textual information. You can also use an Association to associate Data Objects with other objects.

There are four different Associations available:

• Association ()
• Association to Target ()
• Association From Target ()
• Association To/From Target ()

The selection you make is reflected on the beginning and ending indicator on the Association.

You can set global preferences for all the line display options in the Preferences.

The example below shows an Association connecting a Data Object with two tasks.
