The Messages Preference settings display the default location of the application log file and what type of error logging messages are displayed.

Log File Location |
Displays the location of the log file. This location cannot be edited. |

Error Logging Options |
You can select to display the following message types: Debug, Error, Fatal, Information, Trace, and Warning. The options you select determine what messages appear in the Error Logging View. |
