The RAD Server Management Console application allows you to manage the RAD Server Installations data that is stored in your RAD Server Engine (EMS Server). The Installations option displays the stored information about registered devices in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

You can use the RAD Server Management Console application to update or delete the RAD Server Installations data. You can also create new RAD Server Channels to subscribe your registered devices and receive RAD Server Push Notification messages.

Updating the RAD Server Installations Data

Updating a Single RAD Server Installation

To update the data of an existing RAD Server Installation:

  1. Select the Installations option.
  2. Double-click the selected RAD Server Installation.
    The Modify dialog box opens then.
  3. Add optional fields for the new RAD Server Installation.
    • Field Name. Custom field name for a RAD Server Installation.
    • Note: If the Field Name contains blank characters, an error raises.
    • Field Value. Custom field value for a RAD Server Installation.
  4. Update the optional fields data for the RAD Server Installation.
  5. Subscribe the RAD Server Installation to an existing or new RAD Server Channel.
  6. Click the OK button to save your changes in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

Updating Data From Several RAD Server Installations at Once

To update the custom data from one or several RAD Server Installations at once:

  1. In the Installations option, click the Edit button.
  2. Edit the custom fields values of the RAD Server Installation.
  3. Click the Update button to save your changes in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server). Click Cancel to discard all the changes.
  4. Click the Refresh button to retrieve the updated RAD Server Installation data from the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

Deleting a RAD Server Installation

To delete one or several RAD Server Installations from the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server):

  1. In the Installations option, click the Edit button.
  2. Select the RAD Server Installation from the list.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Repeat the previous steps until you have deleted the desired RAD Server Installations.
  5. Click the Update or the Cancel button.
Note: Deleting a RAD Server Installation from the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server) does not require confirmation.

Creating RAD Server Channels

You can subscribe RAD Server Installations to existing RAD Server channels or you can create new channels. You can send RAD Server Push Notifications messages to all the subscribers (RAD Server Installations) of that RAD Server channel.

To create a new RAD Server Channel:

  1. Enter the channel's name in the Enter channel field in the Modify dialog box.
  2. Click the Plus button.
    The new RAD Server Channel is automatically added to the Channels to add list.
  3. Click the OK button to subscribe the RAD Server Installation to the Channels to add list.


To add a subscription of a RAD Server Installation to an existing RAD Server Channels. The existing RAD Server Channels appear in the Channels list:

  1. Open the Modify dialog box for a given RAD Server Installation.
  2. Double-click a channel in the Channels list.
    The RAD Server channel appears now in the Channels to add list.
  3. Click the OK button to subscribe the RAD Server Installation to the Channels to add list.


To remove a subscription of a RAD Server Installation from RAD Server Channels:

  1. Open the Modify dialog box for a given RAD Server Installation.
  2. Double-click a channel in the Channels to add list.
    The RAD Server channel appears now in the Channels list.
  3. Click the OK button to unsubscribe the RAD Server Installation from the RAD Server Channel.
