Go Up to Using the RAD Server Management Console Application


The RAD Server Management Console application allows you to manage the module data that is stored in your RAD Server Engine (EMS Server). The Modules option displays the stored information about modules in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

You can use the RAD Server Management Console application to update or delete the modules data in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

Updating the Modules Data

Updating a Single Module

To update the data of an existing module:

  1. Select the Modules option.
  2. Double-click the selected module.
    The Modify dialog box opens then.
  3. Update the optional fields data for the module.
    • Modify the existing data of the custom fields.
    • Add new Custom fields to the module. Set a new Field Name and the corresponding Field Value.
  4. Click the OK button to save your changes in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

Updating Data From Several Modules at Once

To update the custom data from several modules at once:

  1. In the Modules option, click the Edit button.
  2. Edit the custom fields values of the modules.
  3. Click the Update button to save your changes in the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server). Click Cancel to discard all the changes.
  4. Click the Refresh button to retrieve the updated data from the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server).

Deleting a Module

To delete one or several modules from the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server):

  1. In the Modules option, click the Edit button.
  2. Select the module from the list.
  3. Click the Delete button.
  4. Repeat the previous steps until you have deleted all the desired modules.
  5. Click the Update or the Cancel button.
Note: Deleting a module from the RAD Server Engine (EMS Server) deletes its registered resources.
