C++ Audits pane

View > C++ Audits

The C++ Audits pane displays the table showing the results of Audits processed in a C++ project. To open the C++ Audits pane, select the View > C++ Audits menu command.

In the C++ Audits pane, click the C++ Audits Configuration button C++ C++ Audits Configuration button to open the C++ Audits Configuration dialog box. In the C++ Audits Configuration dialog box, click the Start button. The C++ Audits Configuration dialog box closes and the C++ Audits pane obtains the focus. The C++ Audits pane shows the obtained results of C++ Audits.


Columns in the Table of Results of C++ Audits

This table contains the following columns:

Column Heading Description

Abbreviation

The abbreviation for the audit name. You can find the extended descriptions of C++ audits in the C++ Audits topic.

Description

Provides prompts about why the audit violation flags the item.

File

The file containing the problem code.

Line

The line number in the file where the problem code is located.

Note: Only the violations of Audits are shown in the table of results of C++ Audits; therefore, the table does not necessarily display all the audits, packages, or classes that you have processed.

Toolbar Buttons

The C++ Audits pane has the following toolbar buttons:

Button Description

C++ Audits Configuration button C++ Audits Configuration

Click the C++ Audits Configuration button to open the C++ Audits Configuration dialog box for your C++ project.

QA Audits Stop button C++ Stop

Click the Stop button to abort processing of C++ Audits.
