#include <stdio.h>
#include <ctype.h>
int main(void)
{
int length, i;
char *string = "THIS IS A STRING";
length = strlen(string);
for (i=0; i<length; i++)
{
string[i] = tolower(string[i]);
}
printf("%s\n",string);
return 0;
