Go Up to Using Pattern Organizer

In the Pattern Organizer, virtual pattern trees, virtual folders, and shortcuts are represented as nodes of the logical tree in the Virtual pattern tree pane. While working in the Pattern Organizer, these nodes can be displayed in an arbitrary order. You can sort nodes alphabetically within the container node, using the Sort Folder context menu command.

To sort patterns in the Pattern Organizer

  1. Click Tools > Pattern Organizer to open the Pattern Organizer.
  2. In the Virtual pattern trees pane, right-click some container node (items in which to be sorted). This container node can contain any combination of shortcuts, virtual folders, and virtual pattern trees.
  3. On the context menu, choose Sort Folder. All first-level subnodes of the selected node become alphabetically ordered.
  4. Click OK to save the changes.
