Users editor (MySQL)

The MySQL Functions editor lets you work with basic properties, host details, and privileges for a user.
To edit a user:
- Open an editor on the user. For details, see Opening an Object Editor.
- Use the following table as a guide to understanding and modifying the settings on the tabs of this editor:

User Information |
Lets you view the User Name property and lets you modify the Full Name, Description, Email, and Contact Information properties. For details on these properties, see Users wizard (MySQL). | |
User Hosts |
Add a new host to the list by clicking the New button. Use the associated dropdown to select a valid host-name value (such as localhost or %), overwriting the text as necessary to provide a specific quoted identifier. Provide a password in the Password and Confirm fields and click Apply. Remove a selected host from the list by clicking the Delete button. | |
