Instances (Oracle)
Explorer node location
DBArtisan places the Instance node as the first level of information under the datasource node in the Explorer.
Sub-nodes
- ASM and ASM > Disk Groups nodes (only visible if the Datasource has an ASM instance): for a support summary, see Disk Groups.
- Version node: provides specific version information for the datasource.
- Configuration node: lets you view, extract, and modify configuration/initialization parameters. For detailed information, see Working with Configuration/initialization Parameters.
- Oracle Job Queues node: for a support summary, see Job Queues.
- Scheduler node: Lets you access object types in support of DBMS_Scheduler. For details, see the following topics.

Sub-nodes
- Database Configuration node: lets you view and modify configuration/initialization parameters. For detailed information, see Working with Configuration/initialization Parameters.
- Datasources node: lets you connect to specific datasources.
Toolbar or Right-click Actions
Right-clicking the Instance node also lets you take the following actions:
