Using Multi-Factor Authentication

DB PowerStudio users can leverage multi-factor authentication (MFA) using the identity provider Microsoft Entra, formerly Azure Active Directory (AD), when connecting to Oracle. When logging into Oracle, you can gain the inherent security policies and procedures from Microsoft Entra by entering your password only once.
Users can choose from authentication types for the following databases:
- AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Redshift
- Microsoft Azure SQL DB
- Active Directory - Managed Identity
- Azure Active Directory - Integrated
- Azure Active Directory - Password
- Azure Active Directory - Service Principal
- Azure Active Directory - Universal with MFA
- SQL Server Authentication
- Microsoft Entra authentication with Azure Database
- MySQL - Flexible Server
- PostgreSQL
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Oracle
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Active Directory - Managed Identity
- Azure Active Directory - Password
