Event Monitors

Event Monitors let you monitor specified events that occur on the database including deadlocks, connections, and statements. Because monitoring is configurable by type, you can record activity against all trackable objects or only those you consider most important.

Note: You cannot alter Event Monitors using the ALTER command. You first must drop and then re-create the Event Monitor.
