Policy Context Wizard (Oracle)

The Policy Context wizard introduces the active application context that drives the enforcement of policies.
To create new Policy Context using a wizard:
- Click Schema, and then click Policy Context.
- Use the following topics as a guide to setting properties and performing tasks as you pass through the wizard panels:
- Properties panel - for details, see Policy Context Wizard (Oracle) - Properties.
- DDL View panel - for details, see Previewing the DDL Generated to Create the New Object.
- Finally, use the Finish button to create the object.
Policy Context Wizard (Oracle) - Properties
When creating or editing policy context, this tab/panel allows you to set values on the following properties:

Parent Type |
Select the type (TABLE, VIEW, or SYNONYM) of element that this policy context is to be associated with. |

Parent Schema and Parent Name |
If available and appropriate, select the specific object for which the policy context is being created. |

Name |
Provide a name for the policy context being created. |

Attribute |
Determines the application context attribute name. |
