Model View (Preferences)

There are two different preferences you can set for the Model View:

Preference	Description
Automatically Expand when Clicking Expand All Button	If you have large models and click the Expand All icon in the Model View, you will get a dialog warning you that this action may take an extended length of time. Prompt: The warning dialog will always appear. Always: The Expand All action happens without the warning dialog.
Display Tooltips	When “On” is selected, a descriptive text box appears when the cursor is placed on an icon or node in the Model View tree.
Group Objects by Type	Objects within a model are displayed in the tree grouped by type (for example, a Task node will contain all of the tasks within the model).
Select presentation nodes when using the Find In Model View Feature	If this preference is set, both the presentation element node (designated by a small arrow placed on the element Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination) as well as the element node are highlighted in the Model View tree.
