Grouping Elements

Go Up to Creating Elements in the Diagram View (Evaluation Guide)

You can group elements by object types or show a hierarchical view in the Model View tree. This is a toggle button available on the Model View toolbar. When this button is selected all diagrams and elements in the Model View tree are grouped by type.

• Click the Group by Object Type button on the toolbar (Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination).

Notice that when you select the Group by Object Type, the Element Type header icons include a folder indicator (Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination).

You can also set filters to hide or show certainn elements in your Model View tree.
