Property Views (Application Basics)

You can set a preference for opening Property Views for each created object. When this preference is selected, each time you create an object, either in the Model View or from the palette, the associated Property View is opened as well.

Note: You can close all Property Views by selecting File > Close > All Property Views from the main menu or the Close All menu on the Property View toolbar.:

Preference	Description
Open Property View on object creation	If you select this option, whenever you place a new object on the diagram window the property view pane displays so you can enter property values for the new object.
