Resizing Lanes

Go Up to Lanes

You can resize lanes by selecting the selected lane's border on the diagram and dragging. The resizing function has the following characteristics/restrictions:

• You can set a preference so the pool size will adjust when resizing lanes.
• You can resize individual lanes.
• When sizing the pool the minimum size limits on all of the lanes are respected (i.e. the minimum size of the pool is the sum of the minimum size of the child lanes.)
• When showing/reshowing hidden lanes, the size of existing lanes within a given diagram does not change. Newly added lanes are the default lane size and can increase the size of the pool by the size of the lane, as required.

Resizing a Lane

1 Select the lane to be resized.

2 Place the cursor on the top or bottom (horizontal pools) or the left or right (vertical pools) lane selector indicators.

Note: Note that the cursor changes from the move cursor () to the resize cursor ()

3 Drag the cursor to resize the lane or pool to the desired size.
