Description
TDataSetInsert inserts a new record into a target dataset.
Add TDataSetInsert to an action list to allow users to insert new records in a dataset. Controls such as menu items and tool buttons linked to this action cause the target dataset to insert a new record above the current one and go into edit mode.
TDataSetInsert is designed to work with a TDataSource component as its target. You can explicitly provide this target by setting the DataSource property, or you can allow the action to infer the data source from an active data-aware control. TDataSetInsert automatically disables itself if it does not have a target data source attached to an active dataset that permits edits.
