Description
Represents a byte-sized (8-bits) character type.
AnsiChar values are byte-sized (8-bits) characters ordered according to the locale character set, which is possibly multibyte. The first 256 Unicode characters correspond to the ANSI characters.
- Note: AnsiChar is used by the Delphi desktop compilers, but is not supported by the Delphi mobile compilers. For more information, see Migrating Delphi Code to Mobile from Desktop.
