To join the Apple Developer Program:

1. Acquire an Apple ID for free if you do not have one already. For more information, see Set up an Apple ID in iTunes.
2. Enroll in the Apple Developer Program for an annual fee.

Membership in the Apple Developer Program is a requirement for:

• Deploying macOS applications for submission to the Mac App Store.
• Building, running, debugging, and deploying applications for iOS.
