Save Audits Results and Save Metrics Results dialog boxes

Go Up to GUI of Audits and Metrics

Metrics pane > Save

To open these dialog boxes, open the Audits or Metrics panes and click the Save Save button.

These dialog boxes enable you to save reports about Audits violations or Metrics results, selected in the Audits or Metrics panes, in the specified files.


These dialog boxes have the following controls:

Item Description

Select View

Use the Select View list button to choose the scope of Audits or Metrics results to save.

  • The Audits pane displays the calculated Audits violations in the tabbed pages. You can group and ungroup Audits violations using the Group by command on the context menu. The possible Select view options are:
    • All Results -- Saves all Audits violations from the current tabbed page.
    • Selected Rows -- Saves all selected audit violations. You can select single or multiple rows in the Audits pane.
    • Active Group -- Saves the Audits violations from the selected group. This option is available only if Audits results have been grouped in the Audits pane using the Group by menu command.
  • The Metrics pane displays the calculated Metrics results in the tabbed pages. The possible Select view options are:
    • All Results -- Saves all Metrics results from the current tabbed page.
    • Active List -- Saves all selected metric results. You can select single or multiple rows in the Metrics pane.

Select Format

Select the format for the file to store the selected Audits or Metrics results:

  • XML -- Generates an XML report file.
  • HTML -- Generates an HTML report file. This selection activates the following check boxes:
    • Add Description -- Saves the audit (or metric) descriptions in a separate folder with hyperlinks to the descriptions from the saved report file.
    • Launch Browser -- Opens the generated HTML report file in the default viewer.

Select the Destination

Specify the file name and path of the file to store the report.

"Save" button

Saves the selected Audits violations or Metrics results in the specified report file.
