Prototyp

int printf_s(const char * restrict format, [, argument, ...]);

int wprintf_s(const wchar_t * restrict format, [, argument, ...]);

Beschreibung

Ersetzt printf, wprintf und fügt Sicherheitserweiterungen hinzu.

printf_s entspricht printf, wprintf, fügt aber Laufzeiteinschränkungen hinzu, die verhindern, dass format und argument Null-Zeiger sind.

Hinweis: Für Win32-GUI-Anwendungen muss stdout umgeleitet werden.

Rückgabewert

Bei erfolgreicher Ausführung gibt printf_s gibt die Anzahl der ausgegebenen Bytes zurück; ansonsten wird ein negativer Wert zurückgegeben.
