Is there still a good reason for the disclaimer? You know, this one: "Class helpers provide a way to extend a class, but they should not be viewed as a design tool to be used when developing new code. They should be used solely for their intended purpose, which is language and platform RTL binding."

This is really strange that a language feature that has been fully documented, included in marketing material and is in widespread use in the community has to carry this warning. Also, even Embarcadero has used class helpers for purposes other than "platform RTL binding."

Response

The Delphi architect feels strongly that class helpers should not be a design tool when developing new code, and he does not want this page to say otherwise.
