Open (Logs and Error logs)

Go Up to Available object actions by DBMS

This action displays the contents of error logs or SQL Server Agent-specific log files.

To display the contents of a log file

1. In the Navigator, expand the Server node and if opening a SQL Server Agent log, expand the SQL Server Agent node.
2. In the Navigator, select the Logs or Error Logs node.
3. In the Navigator, right click an ierror log or log and select Open from the context menu.

The contents of the file are displayed in the right-hand pane.
