How to Uninstall C++Builder/Delphi 2010 on your machine

Directories mentioned in this document assume that the default installation directories were used. If the installer was given custom paths during the install process adjustments will need to be made accordingly.

Under your Control Panel's Add/Remove Program uninstall the following entries:

  • Embarcadero Delphi and C++Builder 2010 Database Pack [7.0]
  • Embarcadero Delphi and C++Builder 2010 Help System [7.0]
  • Boost Libraries for C++Builder 2010 [7.0]
  • Embarcadero Rad Studio 2010 [7.0]

If the uninstall will not run for any of the entries you will need to obtain the Microsoft MSI Cleanup Utility to remove the entries. Directions for downloading and using the utility can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301.
