Manual uninstall of Appmethod

The following article will assist in removing Appmethod from your machine and cleaning up any left over files.

Under your Control Panel's Program and Features Add/Remove Program uninstall the following entries:

• Embarcadero Appmethod Help System
• Appmethod

 Please follow these instructions to remove any leftover files:

Remove the %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Appmethod_Downloads folder

Remove the C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Appmethod directory

Remove the C:\Users\Public\Documents\Appmethod directory

Remove the C:\ProgramData\Embarcadero\Appmethod directory

Remove the following cache folders with a GUID name under C:\ProgramData\

1. {87D21F56-28C0-4C38-B0CA-04F0DA19E583} (Appmethod help)
2. {EE74CF31-CB08-449F-9331-2C48F715D3F0} (Appmethod installer)

Remove the following Registry keys:

1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Embarcadero\BDS\13.0
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Embarcadero\BDS\13.0

 

On 32-bit machines:

Program Files = C:\Program Files\Embarcadero\Appmethod Registry keys = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Embarcadero\BDS\13.0
