Manual uninstall of Delphi/C++Builder XE

RAD Studio XE Manual Uninstall

Under your Control Panel's Add/Remove Program uninstall the following entries:

• Embarcadero Delphi and C++Builder XE Help System
• Boost Libraries for C++Builder XE
• Embarcadero Rad Studio XE

Please follow these instructions to remove any leftover files:

1. Remove the C:\Program Files\Embarcadero\Rad Studio\8.0 directory
2. Remove the C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAD Studio\8.0 directory
3. Remove the C:\ProgramData\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\8.0 directory
4. Remove the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Embarcadero\BDS\8.0 registry key
5. Remove the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Embarcadero\BDS\8.0 registry key
6. Remove the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{CB3EBE4F-5007-4AF8-9507-A0318863F433}
7. Remove the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{E39C2600-484F-4606-A7D1-F150FF4B3196}
8. Remove the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{EFCDD6E3-3869-4AB9-8073-CED0EC7C2E75}
9. Remove the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Boost Libraries for C++Builder XE
10. Remove the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Embarcadero Delphi and C++Builder XE Help System
11. Remove the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Embarcadero RAD Studio XE
12. Remove folders with a GUID name in C:\ProgramData\
    1. You can find the specific GUID folder names to remove, by browsing to the subkeys of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MimarSinan\InstallAware\Ident.Cache\
13. Remove the following files from Windows\System32:
    1. *150.BPL
    2. *150.JDBG
    3. *150.XML
    4. BDEAdmin.*
    5. CC32*.DLL
    6. Midas.*
    7. Xerces*.DLL
    8. Tee*150*.BPL

On 64-bit machines:

• Program Files = C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\8.0
• Registry keys = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Embarcadero\BDS\8.0
• Windows\System32 = C:\Windows\SysWOW64
