Go Up to Glossaries

You can export your glossaries and terms to a CSV file.

To export all glossaries and terms to a CSV file:

  1. Select Glossaries on the navigation menu.
  2. Click Export Glossaries on the upper-right corner of the Glossaries page.
  3. On the pop-up window that opens, click Save or Open.

ER/Studio Team Server exports the glossaries and terms to a CSV file.

Export a Subset of Glossaries or Terms

Export a subset of glossaries to a CSV file.

  • From the Glossary list:
  1. Select Glossaries.
  2. To export a subset of glossaries, use a default filter, a search, or an Advanced Search and then click Export.

There are several options in order to export a subset of terms to a CSV file.

  • From the Glossary page:
  1. Select the Glossaries tab.
  2. Open the page of the target glossary. You can search for it.
  3. Open the TermIcon.png Terms subpage.
  4. Open the View tab and click Export.
  • From the Terms list:
  1. Select Terms.
  2. If you click Export now, you will export all the terms.
  3. To export some of them, use a default filter, a search, or an Advanced Search and then click Export.
  • From the Term page:
  1. Select the Terms tab.
  2. Open the page of the target term. You can search for it.
  3. Open the Related Terms subpage.
  4. Open the View tab and click Export. This action will export the target term and the related ones.
  5. In case you want to export the target term and the Related Glossaries open this subpage and click Export on the View tab.


Notepad blue icon 2.pngNote: If the user has permissions individually allowed for some glossaries/terms but the general permissions denied for that resource, the export is not allowed and the Export button is hidden. When List/View permissions are granted for that resource, the user is allowed to see the Export button.
