Description
Retrieves a date value from a specified data value associated with the current key.
Call ReadDate to read a date value from a specified data value associated with the current key. Name is the name of the data value to read.
If successful, ReadDate returns a TDateTime value. The integral part of a TDateTime value is the number of days that have passed since 12/30/1899. The fractional part of a TDateTime value is the time of day.
If the Registry entry does not contain a date or time value, an exception is raised.
Note: Only use ReadDate to read data values previously stored with the WriteDate procedure.
