Description

Searches the target edit control for the next instance of the search string.

Do not call the ExecuteTarget method. This method is called automatically when the action fires in response to a user action (for example, when the user selects a menu item or presses a tool button that is linked to this action).

Target is the currently active object when the action fires.

ExecuteTarget calls the Search method of the TSearchFind action specified by the SearchFind property. This method ignores the Target parameter, and instead searches the edit control that was the target when SearchFind first launched the search dialog. If another instance of the search dialog's current target string appears in the edit control, the next instance of the string is selected. Otherwise, a message dialog appears to inform the user that the string could not be found.
