Tools > Options > Environment Options > Difference Viewer > Add > Browse
Tools > Options > Environment Options > Merge Viewer > Add > Browse
Use this dialog box to locate and select a program to use as an external difference viewer.

Lists the current directory. Use the drop-down list to select a different drive or directory. |

Displays the name of the program you want to select. You can type wildcards to use as filters in the Files list box, or click the drop-down arrow to select a previously selected program. |

Files of Type |
Displays the type of program you want to open. All files in the current directory of the selected type appear in the Files list box. Accepted programs can be of 3 extensions: exe, com, or pif. |
