Editing an Option Set

Go Up to Option Sets - Creating, Applying, Editing, and Deleting

The only option sets that can be edited are those that have been applied (as a reference) to build configurations and whose names appear in the Project Manager. You cannot edit .optset files outside of the IDE.

To edit an option set

1. Do either of the following:
   • On the Project Manager, locate and right-click the option set file that you want to edit, and select Edit on the context menu.
   • On the Configuration Manager, click the project name, then click the down-arrow on the Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination (Edit Option Set) button, and select the option set you want to edit.
2. On the Editing option set dialog box (a limited version of the Project Options dialog box), edit the options that you want to change.
3. After editing, click OK on the Editing option set dialog box to save the .optset file.
