Subscribe icon on the Home Page

You can also ensure you always have the latest version of your applications by subscribing to AppWave notifications or by checking the Notifications in AppWave Browser, so you will always know when a new version is available.

Subscribing to AppWave Notifications in Your Internet Browser

To subscribe to notifications follow these steps:

1. From the AppWave Home page http://<server_name>:<port_number>/aaserver , click the subscribe icon next to AppWave notifications at the bottom of the page.
   1. For Internet Explorer, on the RSS feed page that appears, you can see the latest notifications. Click Subscribe to this feed.
   2. For Mozilla Firefox, a Subscribe to this feed using Live Bookmarks dialog appears. Click Subscribe Now. You can name and choose where to place the live bookmark. Click Subscribe.
   3. For Google Chrome you need to install a plugin or extension for RSS Suscription. Once you have the plugin installed you can add the feed for AppWave Notifications.

Checking Notifications

To check the Notifications follow these steps:

1. From the AppWave Browser, click Notifications on the left-hand menu.
2. The Notifications page appears .
3. Once you have seen the notifications, you can click CLEAR ALL to remove all Notifications displayed.

Select a Version to Run

On the AppWave Store only the latest versions are available. On the AppWave, by default, when there are multiple versions of an App available, only the latest version appears in the App Window. However, you have the option to choose the version if there is more than one available.

Select a different version from the default one:

1. In the App Window, right-click the app.
2. If there are multiple versions you will be able to choose the version to run. Select Run > Version > app or installer

Note: you can also go to the page of the application and in the Versions tab select the version to run or install.

Change the Default Version

AppWave will always run the latest version of an app unless, you set the default version on the Versions page of the App Channel.

To change the Default version:

1. Go to the App Channel.
2. Click the Versions tab to see all the available versions.
3. Click Make Default
