This chapter documents the IBConsole interactive SQL (isql) and command-line isql utilities for InterBase. These tools provide an interface to InterBase Dynamic SQL interpreter. You can use these query tools to perform data definition, prototype queries before implementing them in your application, or to perform ad hoc examination of data in your database.
