Streaming Services

Go Up to AppWave Configuration and Administration

The streaming service handles disk intensive product caching from AppWave. From the Streaming Service pane you can stop and start the streaming service.

Access the Streaming Service pane from the master AppWave system on SYSTEM MANAGEMENT > Streaming Service . The Streaming Service pane appears.

Changing Streaming Service Settings

1. Go to SYSTEM MANAGEMENT > Streaming Service > Streaming tab .
2. Make your change and then click Save. For information on the options available see Streaming Tab.

Monitoring the Streaming Service

1. From the SYSTEM MANAGEMENT menu, click Streaming Service.
2. On the Streaming Service page click the name of the streaming server you want to monitor.
3. The Streaming Live Statistics pane appears where you can see which applications are currently being streamed and which users are receiving streamed applications.

Stop and Start a Streaming Service

1. From the SYSTEM MANAGEMENT menu, click Streaming Service.
2. You can see if the server is running on the Status column: Started. Stop the Service by clicking the stop icon to the right of the Status column.
3. You can see if the server is stopped on the Status column: Stopped. Start the Service by clicking the start icon to the right of the Status column.

To view the progress of application publishing you have started, click Publishing progress.
