Go Up to Control License Usage

When AppWave Browser users attempt to run an Embarcadero application for which you are not licensed to use, a trial license can be generated using an account created on the Embarcadero Developer Network (EDN). The trial license associates one EDN account with one AppWave . The trial license permits the user to use any Embarcadero XE App for 30 days.

You can assign an EDN account to AppWave , which the AppWave users will use for requesting trial licenses.

Assign Trial License Owner in AppWave

1. From the Dashboard, click Set up licenses.
2. On the Set Up Licenses pane, click Set Trial Owner.
   1. If you have an EDN account, enter your EDN credentials and then click Save.
   2. If you do not have an EDN account, click Create EDN account, create an account, and then enter your EDN credentials and click Save.

Assign Trial License Owner in AppWave Browser

1. Start AppWave Browser using an account with administrator privileges.
2. At the top of AppWave Browser Apps tab, click the Tools and Options icon and then select Licensing > Change Trial Owner .
   1. If you have an EDN account, enter your EDN credentials and then click OK.
   2. If you do not have an EDN account, click Create new EDN account, create an account, and then enter your EDN credentials and click OK.
